Greetings to all at home reading! This post is a little later than normal because 7/31 was our most eventful day yet. Mason here again writing! The day was similar to other camp days, so we are only going to briefly cover that, so we can fully highlight our evening/night activities. Today held exciting meals, fun, free time, activities, unique games, and successful arts and English class sessions.

This evening was the “labyrinth,” campfire, and carnival. The labyrinth was a multistation activity where students move throughout the campgrounds, participating in leader led stations aimed to help the students reflect, strengthen and deepen their faith. Mason found this to be a very successful and many of the students agreed. Multiple students voiced how they felt strongly connected to God – more than they ever have before.
After a chill and warm bonfire, during which the campers debriefed and reflected, the carnival began! Leader led games were played by campers to win price such as chips and candy. The event was nicely lit by fire from tiki torches and the big smiles of the students and leaders reflecting it. The night went late, and everyone was tired, but memories were definitely made.

As these next couple days go by, we will be fully reflecting on our experience. We are excited to tell you the full story once we are back, all of us are thinking of and missing home! We can’t wait to spend a few days as a team talking about everything and continuing to grow together.

Great job everyone! What an impactful week that you led for the Romanian students, and it seems that your lives have been impacted as well. Have an amazing next couple of days resting, debriefing, and touring the amazing sites of these beautiful countries.

The “labyrinth” experience sounds like it was very meaningful for many of you, that’s a praise for sure.
Your updates are very encouraging for those of us at home who are praying for you. I hope there will be time when you get home that the team will share your experiences with our church, I’d like that very much.
