Hello loved ones at home!
Apologies that we have been lacking on the blog a bit, camp has been quite busy yet also very fun! Mason and Finn are writing today’s blog. Currently Finn is sleeping as Mason attempts to summarize the fantastic day we all had.
To begin, it was Porter’s birthday today which was celebrated dearly through out the day!! We all expressed early this morning that we had some tiredness hitting us, but God blessed us with energy and fun as the day went on. We had arts and crafts time as well as English activities to fill our morning, which brought a lot of joy to us and helped us all connect to the Romanians. We made lots of friendship bracelets/keychains and wrote cards for friends in the camp. For English activities we played some games and practiced Romanian with the Romanians while they practiced their English with us!! Mason learned a lot of fun phrases that he has been using as much as he can.

Later in the day, we played a full camp game led by Finn and the sports team that was a hide and seek type game called Wanted, where the hiders could run and could only be caught if the seekers had their “Wanted” poster, which was also hidden throughout the camp. The afternoon also was nicely open for a large amount of free time, which many of us spent playing Volleyball or together or walking around the grounds, as we were blessed with perfect weather in the crevasse of the mountains.

In the night, we had some touching worship and were lucky enough to hear Vlad’s testimony, and then a message from Liviu. We ended our night with our last small group meetings, and are ready for the biggest day of all tomorrow!

What an awesome day of growing relationships and lives being changed and transformed. Praying you all have some form of a coming-of-age moment on this trip, even if you weren’t lucky enough to celebrate your 18th birthday on the trip! Wow! Your joy and excitement are speaking loudly thru this update, so cool!! It’s wonderful that you’re teaching one another each other’s language.
