Greetings to everybody back home, this is Drake and Porter writing on the second day of our trip. We had breakfast at 10am so we all got to sleep in which was really nice especially after a long day of travel😊.
After bonding more with Romanian leaders over breakfast and spending some time on a devotional led by Mason we enjoyed some downtime before lunch.

After lunch, the three of us went to the mall to exchange everyone’s dollars for Romanian lei. The rest of the team learned about Ethos (where we are staying) and planned the sports night. While we were shopping our host Christi showed us a good place to shop for essentials and we got our first taste of local shopping.

After dinner we met with many of the campers at a nearby school and played some fun icebreaker games that included a slip and slide!

At night I look up into the sky and see the beautiful canopy of stars. God has created. It covers us all no matter how far away we are from one another we are all looking at the same beautiful stars and sleeping under the same beautiful canopy..
Thanks for sharing all these pics. It looks like a very fun and full first day. I love that there are so many critters around. That praying mantis is so cool. Some people believe they represent good luck and protection. Even he is joining in praying for you all.
