Buna! My name is Adia, and this will be my second time going to Romania, and I am so pumped!! I’m excited to see all my friends from last year and make new ones. In the past, I’ve been to West Virginia with Blackhawk, and I’ve also been on the Colorado backpacking trip. I love getting involved with the trips that Blackhawk has to offer because I love the relationships that I have been able to build with the people around me. I have never come out of a trip with Blackhawk without having made new friends.

After Romania, I will be headed to Penn State in State College, Pennsylvania for my freshman year of college, with a major in Kinesiology. I hope to one day go on to medical school and be a Sports Medicine Physician. I love music (playing my ukulele and listening to Spotify), running, spending time outside, and drinking coffee. I speak Spanish fluently, some Arabic, and some German. I love learning new languages, so I’m currently working on learning some Romanian for the trip!
